The quality of the shield is amazing. It's life-size, made out of sturdy thick plastic, the paint job is very precise and vibrant colors, I mean if you just look at it you would think it's the real Hylian shield fresh out of the treasure chest. I could not find any defects on it. It's hollow but still has decent weight to it. I don't do cospaly so it's for decoration only but it's a pleasure to look at. It came with the special strip to wrap the handle, I haven't decided yet if I wanted to do that but it's nice to have that option. I am so happy I found it. I received it within 4-5 days and it was packaged well.
