bought for an anime convention to cosplay sophie hatter and howl! the dress came super wrinkly, which was an easy fix with a quick wash and dry! sizing was super accurate, and although the dress itself was a little flat, a hoop skirt added the poof that i wanted! the only major problems were with the buttons.the button holes weren’t big enough for the buttons, and i had two of them fall off completely.luckily i had just enough sewing knowledge to fix these issues!in all, this costume is pretty good for the price!(( and feel free to follow @puddleduckpond on tiktok to see it in action! ))I really was nervous about the possibility of this dress not fitting but was pleasantly surprised I'm a 3x and it worked out perfectly only complaints are it's a little tight on the chest area ( I'm well endowed) and the zipper on the back of the dress is not the best quality and is hard to zip because it's so small but other wise I'm very happy with my purchaseThis cosplay is a dream come true I've always wanted to cosplay Sophie and this dress is beautiful I feel so pretty in it! I'm so excited to wear this to my next con!I'd make sure you knew your measurements before buying, just to avoid any mis-sizings.The zipper sucks a little so don't tug too hard, but once it's on its comfortable and flowy!FOLLOW THE SIZE CHART! I sized up the first time and had to exchange the cosplay! It fits perfectly though and is probably the most comfortable cosplay I own! The sleeves are also a touch long but they still look good scootched up your wrist a bit.I’m excited to wear it it absolutely fits me I’m gonna definitely gonna wear it on my TickTock’s and conventionIt fit like the size chart had said! And what I was expecting came with it, it’s really nice material and probaly won’t bug people with irritable skin like myself! Definitely recommend if your plus size like me, and looking for a bigger size, it’s very comfortable!So, I’m a HUGE Studio Ghibli nerd, and I decided to start cosplaying from those movies. At first, I was gonna go with Kiki so I don’t sweat but I decided to start with Sophie! (I love wearing dresses and spinning in them)Pros;-It’s really nice!-There is a bit of lace around the neck and it makes it really pretty-The apron helps make it tighter if it’s too lose which is perfect in my case (I bought a 2xl and it was a bit big/loose)Cons;-Itchy. Very itchy. (Tbf, I didn’t wear any shorts or tanktop underneath so that could’ve prevented it a little bit but it’s still kinda itchy)-Can get very hot in it-The zipper is a little flimsy and delicate so be careful when using itAll in all, it’s perfect! I would recommend probably ironing the apron down a little bit as it has fold marks in it. Maybe even size down one while you’re at it? If it’s still too big then you can use the apron to make it tight. :)
