I was looking for a fairly accurate Ripley jumpsuit for Halloween, and this item did not disappoint. It has all the laces, zippers and patches, and seems to be fairly screen-accurate. The fabric is a good weight and not too flimsy, and I had no problem wearing a shirt (and some leggings) underneath for both costume purposes and warmth.I was between L and XL and didn’t have time to have a custom size made, and ultimately I had to size up. I expected the proportions to be awkward given that the larger size also assumed I was taller, but it was just right. I have a short torso with longer legs (29.5” inseam), so the crotch length was a bit long but the inseam worked out just fine. The little zipper pulls on the ankle area did drag on the ground and I occasionally stepped on them, but I expected that.I wore the suit to two events for Halloween and will probably pull it out for a con in the future. Honestly, it might just be fun to wear out and about on a day where I don’t feel like putting together a real outfit. The quality is sturdy enough, although I’d probably always wear something under just to avoid having to wash it very much. I’m not sure how it would hold up to anything but a hand washing.
