Runs large, which is a rarity for a steampunk clothing item. It is microsuede, not real suede. I knew that because of the price, but wanted to clarify, since it is not clear in the description. It also seems to be shorter in front than on the model. Works great for a costume and pretty decent quality.I'm very happy with this skirt. Nice cotton fabric. Beautiful color blue. A little large around the waist, but with the elastic and draw string should be no problem. I ordered an extra large and could have ordered a large. But I do like the volume of the skirt. I normally wear sizes med-to large in regular clothes. Or size 14. I would recommend this company and would order from them again.It was beautifully constructed and love the color. The only thing i would have liked better is the feel of the material. Feels like an , under 500 thread count sheet. That said it was still a worthy and sturdy purchase.I like it a lot and it's good quality, but it's too long for me in the back and too short in the front. I'm 5' tall and a bit heavy. Also I didn't like the draw string in the front, It doesn't need it so I cut it off.Didn’t try it on, it wasn’t what I needed.I ordered this for a steampunk costume. I placed my order five days ago, and the package arrived today! The skirt was exactly as pictured, the size was precisely as described, and the quality is quite good. The seams are even, all hems are finished, and all detail work is tight. I would not hesitate to order again!I expected something flimsy like you would get with a pre-packaged costume but I was greatly surprised. The skirt is good quality and allows for different sizes. I was surprised how heavy it was. With a slip under it the skirt really filled out. It looks great with my steampunk costume and I'm looking forward to wearing it.It is just what I need to complete my costume. It fits great and is well made. Can't wait to wear it out.Not happy! The bit that makes it steampunk in the picture is the black and white corset part with cogs. This is not part of the skirt. Not ruched at the top like on picture and waist is NOT elasticated. Certainly not worth the money. Just a cheap looking fancy dress item
