This Alita bodysuit was perfect for my Alita: Battle Angel cosplay! This cosplay outfit fit very well on me and was a hit for my most recent anime convention! I was extremely surprised because I wasn't sure if this would fit me but it sure did. I usually wear a 12-14 in clothes and am very thick and curvy, especially in the thigh, hip, butt region, and as of recent I also have quite the stomach forming. <_< Anyway I was not sure that this cosplay would fit me but I wanted to take the chance anyway and it fit like a glove! It hid my stomach pretty well and every part of the suit fit fantastically. There was definitely a lot of wiggle room if needed and the stretch was out of this world! This costume is very well constructed and very stretchy so I will say that it definitely fits true to size (with a bit of extra room) if you go based on the size chart.I ordered the largest size and it fit me (I am 5'2, 215lbs). There is a bit of extra material throughout the fingers, arms and legs so if you are much taller than me I'm sure this will fit you great as well! There was a bit too much room in a few of the fingers which wasn't a huge problem but it was something to note. The suit isn't too difficult to get in and out of but you will have to be reaching back from the top and bottom to get it to completely zip and unzip all of the way. With this being a full bodysuit it's obviously hard to grab things so what I actually did was cut a small slit in the palm of both hands underneath where my fingers connect to the palm so it's about a 1.75 inch cut. This allowed me to slide my hands in and out of the costume as needed and since the material is nice and stretchy it didn't create a huge hole or anything at all. I HIGHLY recommend doing this so you can take out your hands when you need to eat, grab things and help yourself get in and out of the costume.I'm also a darker skin tone than the shoulder parts so what I did was just take a marker and color in those parts a bit darker to match my skin tone. I would recommend if you do this, do not use marker. Haha! Actually use some fabric dye or better yet airbrush. I thought about cutting out those parts but was too afraid that I would ruin something. All in all it didn't turn out perfect but it does look still pretty uniform to the costume. Decide for yourself what you'd like to do here if needed. It didn't look bad at all when left alone but I just wanted to feel more comfortable with having that part match my skin best I could.I really don't have any issues with the costume at all. The feet look a little too cartooney so I wore combat boots on top that I own. I created my own berserker sword using foam board and it turned out great! I bought the Alita wig off of Amazon as well and it turned out great! Eventually I would like to create Alita's metal arm parts but this is a great costume to work off of!I was extremely comfortable wearing this costume all day and it looked very well on me! Wore this during the middle of summer and I was worried that I would be sweltering hot but I was able to keep my cool just fine. The zipper was fine and I didn't feel constricted in any way. I could move just as freely as Alita in it doing kicks, spins and backflips (ok, not really backflips) with ease. I got many compliments from this cosplay and was easily recognized by fans. I hope to get a bit more fit so that the costume fits a bit better on me for next year. This costume was well worth the money! It’s a bodysuit so it will be form fitting. Definitely helps to wear seamless underwear. The fabric is stretchy enough but not too thin that you have to worry about ripping the costume. The back has a sturdy zipper. The only thing I noticed that wasn’t very good about this costume was the little bit of extra fabric on each side of the hip area. It’s got a slight tenting going on, but not a deal breaker for me. Otherwise I think the costume was made nicely.This was a very well-constructed costume. I was impressed by the quality of the material and design printed on it. However, the extra large was unusually short. I could only get it half way up my upper arm. I am 5’8” and of a slim build. I was sad to have to return it.I loved the material and how it fit. I used this to film some parts of a cosplay video and even though the suit extends over your hands, you can still touch your phone screen through the material- cool bonus.I really like the suit. It is somewhat larger in the length of the arms & legs, but I'm 5'2 & 110 lbs. I'm still excited to wear it at the next Comicon & maybe Halloween.I got a lot of compliments on this costume! Will definitely have to wear it again some time (:I bought it a bit big so my daughter would have room to grow and do any sort of comfortable fighting.
